Parent Information.
All the need-to-knows.
-
Our Centre follows a range of policies and procedures that help us run smoothly and provide high-quality care. We encourage parents and whānau to get familiar with this information, which includes our Centre’s regulations, policies, and the latest Education Review Office (ERO) report. You’ll find most of these documents on the parent/whānau noticeboard, but if you’d like to see something that’s not displayed, just ask a staff member — we’re happy to help.
Please also take a moment to read our Inquiries, Concerns and Complaints Policy. We review and update our policies regularly. When a new policy is introduced, a copy will be placed next to the sign-in sheet. We ask that you take a moment to read and sign it — your feedback helps us create a great learning environment for all tamariki.

We follow a healthy eating policy, so we ask that you keep this in mind when packing your child’s food.
Meal times are:
Morning tea: 10am
Lunch: 12pm
Afternoon tea: 3pm
Please pack enough food to cover the time your child will be with us.
We are a water-only centre (except for babies’ bottles), and we ask that you don’t include any nut products in lunchboxes. This helps us reduce the risk of choking and supports children with nut allergies.
-
We kindly ask that toys stay at home, as they can sometimes cause unnecessary conflict between children.
-
Please pack:
Three full changes of clothes
Outdoor gear suited to the season (e.g. boots, hats, coats)
If your child needs to borrow Zaadje clothing, we’d appreciate it if you could wash and return it promptly. And please make sure all your child’s belongings are clearly named. We provide nappies.

Our Centre has two dedicated learning spaces:

We use Storypark as an online platform for sharing learning updates and important information about your child.
Funding documents and further information are available — just let us know if you’d like to request anything.
